The future function of the facade goes beyond simply separating the inside from the outside. Facades will play an active role in making buildings more sustainable. The facade is a dynamic element that not only protects, but also actively contributes to the environment, energy efficiency and comfort of users. The facade regulates air quality, promotes daylighting and improves acoustics inside the building.

“With more than 40 years of experience, Future Façade is the ideal opportunity for us to showcase our innovations,” said André Jansen, Account Manager Projects at Solarlux. The company, which specializes in glass folding walls, balcony glazing and modular facade systems, offers customized solutions for building projects and renovations. “Our products are developed in-house, produced in our state-of-the-art factory and meet the highest European quality standards and environmental requirements (EPD).”

For years Solarlux has been working intensively with TU Delft, resulting in, for example, its own office buildings with double facades, where technology and sustainability are central . The double facade makes it possible to make optimal use of natural ventilation and solar heat, while at the same time minimizing the building’s energy needs.

At the fair, we will be happy to showcase the latest developments that fit into the new energy-saving and sustainable perspectives for smart, healthy buildings.
