Green facades are becoming increasingly popular in construction. Leafy has developed a modular and demountable system for them. More importantly, the company has turned it into a simple product, without the need for complicated installations. Boyan Klifman explains how it works.
The system uses rainwater and natural substrate. It works with nature rather than relying on complex sensors, pumps, electronics, nutrient injectors and other technology. “What I’m most proud of is the impact of our panels,” says Klifman. “More greenery brings so many benefits, and I’m proud that we’ve been able to bring all of those benefits together in a single product.”
