Project information
Steel facade systems excel in sustainability and reusability. The Jansen VISS façade offers a highly thermally insulated facade construction with a Passivhaus certificate for any application both in new building and refurbishments. The components from the modular system are selected to suit the structural requirements, size of panels an/or infill element thicknesses in order to achieve the best solution in terms of structure and costs.
The Jansen VISS façade system has been in use for more than 55 years in various building types around the globe. The modular system allows very easily simple adaptations to become state of the art. Technically mature after 55 years of permanent application the VISS groove is the key factor for enhancing e.g. thermal insulation values by implementing new glass.
Depending on the requirements the VISS façade system offers structural glazing and is tested for its use in different roof types or horizontal deployment. With a either welded or push-fit construction weight loads of infill elements of up to 1800 kg are possible.
The exhibited element shows contemporary colors and development of the façade. With reusability moving into focus Jansen´s VISS façade system is equipped to even meet future demands.
